Early Education: Infants – Toddlers

Course Overview

This course will engage the student in four weeks of learning about working with infant to toddlers.

To be able to provide high quality care for infants to toddlers there are many factors that must be understood by the teachers. Group care can be a place where infants to toddlers, with and without disabilities, can feel their potential and this lays the foundations for their developmental journey. Group care can be a place where all children, caregivers, and parents form deep, meaningful, and satisfying relationships can be the support to both the family and the full development of the children.

Participants will engage in a blend of theory content, simulated and practical environments during the course to gain deep understanding.

The delivery will be online self-paced in our Cloud Campus.

This will provide the student with deeper content and theory and then have opportunity to practice this new learning in a practical placement.

Experienced infant and toddler educators will share their experiences through a panel of experts and students will be placed at high quality early learning services for practical experience.

This is not nationally recognised training and assessment leading to the issuance of an AQF [Australian Qualifications Framework] certification/qualification. This is a customised short course designed to upskill you in a specific area.
