At Lead Institute, we are fully subsidising the following courses:
- Educational Leadership
- Early Childhood: Infants – Toddlers
- Leadership within Early Childhood
The free child care scheme the Australian government was put place to support struggling parents during the effects of COVID-19 is scheduled to end on the 12th of July 2020 – meaning parents will be required to pay child care fees from the 13th of July.
JobKeeper assistance for the child care sector will also end on the 20th of July 2020.
This is unsettling news for both families who rely on the services the child care industry provides, as well as, many of our colleagues working within the industry.
Throughout COVID-19, child care centre educators and staff have been in the front-line, providing care for the children of our essential workers who continued to work even during lockdown.
We are saddened to know that many of our dedicated workers in the industry are once again facing the uncertainty and pressure caused by the pandemic despite the decreasing number of cases within the country.
To express our gratitude and solidarity to our colleagues in the industry who continue to work hard to support our community, Lead Institute are fully subsidising a number of our short courses for people currently working within the sector.
We recognise the importance of up-skilling now more than ever and would like to extend the opportunity to do so for people who may not be financially able to during these difficult times.
Our courses are designed for the entire early childhood industry. Early Education: Infants – Toddlers and Leadership within Early Childhood are also suitable for educators within a Family Day Care setting.
To access the above courses for free, please apply before the 31st July 2020.
Detailed information about the above courses can be found on our courses page.
